I want to hear a killer pop track that truly lets NMIXX show off their vocals. Ideally, it would have a super catchy, widely appealing hook that completely overwhelms you with pure vocal power. That idea suddenly came to me while I was listening to the Hey Mama cover I linked.

  1. With dodree covering several NMIXX songs recently why not go the other way and have a folk-inspired song? Doesn’t necessarily have to be traditional Korean instrumentation/Korean folk though that would be pretty cool as well. Maybe a Japanese, Irish, or Peruvian folk song with respective koto, Irish fiddle, or Andean pan flute instrumentation to back their vocals? Or something more distinctively upbeat Latin American since they have already focused a bit on the Latin market with their touring and having a Spanish version of Soñar.

I think Kyujin at some point said she wanted to do a full jazz song, and Haewon jokingly said she wanted to do a heavy metal one to surprise people.

  2. something like Evanescence. but Korean.

or something that experiments on harmonization since they are super good at it

  3. Direct-Money27 on

They use elements of Jazz frequently in their songs and it always sounds great, would love to see them commit to the genre even more!

  4. I think my answer for this question for every group I follow is a Dreamcatcher concept. I’ve really missed them.
