Honestly the funniest thing I’ve heard all year, this is entirely on the parents who didn’t bother to read the description of the show, or do any research – so many didn’t even know kpop is a whole ass genre in itself. There’s only half a dozen songs in KPDH, what did they think an hour and a half show was going to be filled with? 😂😂😂

Does anyone know which raunchy moments are being referred to in this article? A lot of children attend sabrina carpenter concerts and she has sexual themes in her songs and performances.
It seems like the disconnect here is that the audience was expecting a kpop demon hunters show and not kpop the genre 🤔.

This is no different to parents trying to take their kids to see Deadpool because Marvel or to see Sasuage Party because it was animated with talking food.

This is why I will never stop saying that the Netflix movie, the US based group and even to an extent the obvious big names are not a good representation of kpop as a whole.

Judging by the comments on here and on TikTok I’m gonna be in the minority, but
I don’t think the venue or the artist is to blame, but I can empathize with the parents. I can very clearly see a mum with like 3 kids hear their kids yell the words “kpop! kpop! kpop!” for a year straight, then see the poster with “KPOP” written on it prominently (or maybe even one of the kids saying that there’s gonna be a kpop concert coming and asking for tickets) and innocently assume it’s the same thing.
