After watching it a few times it’s great but the music video to me does feel a bit all over the place, it’s a lot of gorgeous shots but they don’t feel as cohesive as IVE’s music videos usually do.
With the song it’s what I feared when I first heard the highlight medley and it’s that while I do really like it, it doesn’t quite live up the high of that pre-chorus.
I’m listening to the whole album on Spotify I think I’m liking this more without the music video, which feels strange to say.

I think the song reminds me of Eleven a lot!! The instrumental has Eleven and Holy Moly vibes!! And the beginning of the bridge was so angelic like Eleven ✨✨✨

(without looking at the lyrics at all) rebel heart makes you well up, attitude makes you feel pretty, blackhole gives similar aura to Eleven for me
more “ive” than Bang Bang but still shares a similar DNA
it’s definitely a song I love “watching” from the sheer quality of the mv, and I think the song will grow on me more once I see the choreo.

All six of them are drop dead gorgeous! Is it the makeup? I cannot pinpoint it. They are clearly young adults now but the make up and styling still manage to capture this youthful yet chic vibe.

The middle was a bit weak but the rest of the song is soooo good. However I didnt think the MV matched…. It was cool to watch but it seemed like they made the mv based on the song name and didnt listen to the song at all (which ironically didnt have Blackhole in it ever).

I prefer Bang Bang as a title track but at least they are both TTs so there’s something for everyone.

dang at the people disliking… I honestly think it’s in my top three IVE title tracks right now (alongside REBEL HEART and obviously, I AM, which oddly enough also has a trap breakdown stuff in its second verse) + the ‘look at me now’ hook is SO SO GOOD I’M IN LOVE
although the middle part was kinda weak – it’s probably gonna take a few listens before I get used to it – I loved all other parts. it totally matched my expectations from the teaser.
