  1. It started so good but they kinda ended at a cliffhanger and now I am wondering if their next mv will be connected to this one.

  2. I love this kind of sampling where the original record is still recognisable, so you can feel its groove and emotional texture, but it’s been recontextualised into something completely new. It gives the track a really rich, layered character.

This was amazing! I love how everything around them is also wild and “tweak”-ing out

Kendall’s voice during her chorus was sooo cute. Her voice is so unique.

I wish they put more of the “date” scenes from the trailer and not all these random extras lol

I’m loving the direction they’ve been taking from the last single to this one (I am pretending commas does not exist.)

If they keep this up they may truly be the next it-girl group in the west. I am a non-stan saying this.

  6. Something about the vocal production, melodies and (lack of clear) enunciation is giving pre-Wicked Ariana Grande to me. Like this could be a positions album track and I wouldn’t blink!

Love the key change and adlibs in the final chorus, like yes bring back loud hooting and hollerin ❤️ looking forward to this new sound for girlset

this is everything i love this industry for i mean cmon!!! the vocals, the energy, the colour, the vibrancy of it all, the genuine WEIRDNESS!!! we’re so fuckin BAAAAACK

THEY WENT TO THE BAKERY OF CUNTY MUSIC AND ORDERED MULTIPLE
GAGUETTES😮‍💨 These girls are here to stay🤭✨

  10. This is one of the under 3 minutes songs that feels complete. I can’t imagine it going for much longer without it starting to feel like it’s too long.

Between Little Miss and Tweak Girlset is slowly building up a killer discography.

  11. Now this feels like proper JYP business!! Visually it reminds me of some of Itzy’s recent work, but there seems to be a little bit of Wonder Girls tucked in there too.

    Very cool.

im obsessed!! something about these street sets really reminds me of older mvs from jyp

its good wish it was longer tho im not a fan of the short songs thing

  14. Very solid single, but unfortunately doesn’t hold strongly compared to Little Miss on first impression. The song could’ve been extended to give it more room between the second chorus and the end of the bridge. Other than that, amazing bridge and improved lyricism!!!!! Production was so good and made great use of the SWV sample.

Their marketing team and sound camp are doing amazing work with their pivot to the Y2K rebrand thus far. If they have one more single soon prior to their EP release, they’re going to have so much momentum for their sales.

  15. I don’t know what I was expecting from the thumbnail pic but when I heard the music notes for “weak” by SWV in the beginning I instantly was hooked I looooooove that song

& I love this one omg girlset killed it!!! They did an amazing job 💕💕

About time this song released, and I think it’s really well done. It’s catchy and the sample was recontextualized in a very effective manner and I also loved how chaotic the mv is. Camila owned this song and it’s on repeat

This is a fucking slay. That last chorus is incredible.

Just saw the JYP cameo Lmfaooo

  18. An easy listen for sure and could fit right in on your spotify R&B playlists but not particularly memorable.

I wish the song was longer 😭 also, JYP GAVE THEM A BIGGER MV BUDGET?!?!

  20. Probably their best yet, but my only nitpick is that I feel like it could have used a “calm before the storm” story scene in the beginning before the song begins, in order to actually establish Savanna being fed up with this guy. The visuals are great, but everything just kind of takes off at the speed of light without introducing anything or having any idea what’s happening.

The hairdresser scene (and that part in the song) is easily the highlight for me. Kendall has fully established that her role in the group is to provide contrast and inject sugar into the R&B thing.

Also shockingly the least attention-starved JYP cameo, heh.

Also, shame that that outro isn’t in the actual track– it sounds nice, IMO.

  21. This and Little Miss is exactly what I dreamed of from a global girl group, thank you Girlset 🥹💗

  22. SMASH! They’re 2 for 2! And if you remember a song name Commas, no you don’t! 🙂

i’ve waited so long for this song but it was totally worth it! we are so back. i love how all four girls are so different and unique yet they blend together so well as a group. i’m so happy i stuck with them after the rebrand <3

    This is actually… really good?

Despite the length and the song being based around Gen Z/Alpha slang, I actually really liked this. Production is great, it’s catchy but not cringy and it doesn’t feel too short. Hope this one blows up.

  25. TemporaryNectarine92 on

Just googled the members but Camila’s vocal tone is just sooooo good. I just love the R&B vibe mixed with the pop

  26. You know that feeling in kpop songs where the main vocalist is singing and everything comes together? Camila is that girl.

  27. I LOVE IT. Although it’s short, it feels complete and I wasn’t underwhelmed at all.

  28. RedditFan3510 on

Just have to say this is the best recent American Kpop song released and better than any Katseye song. I hope it does well.

  29. okay budget??? the last i saw of them was that red theme clothing closet video of something?😭 what an improvement this is so good !! i love the fever dream aesthetic. also got XG vibes because of the sound and the blonde girl looks a bit like hinata haha
