    My first two thoughts:

    1) Extremely cool that they saw the WaPo article about the first recording of Arirang made at Howard by seven Korean students!

    2) ARE THE LAST 15 SECONDS A SONG TEASER???? IT SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!!!

    Omg!! I saw so many ARMY theorizing about this group of 7 Korean men recording Arirang when the name of the album was released, and it’s now part of their promotions??? They’ve seriously thought of everything!!!

    I’m actually going insane right now thinking of all the parallels and how they’re drawing the lines between the stories of these men and BTS so explicitly!

    I’m so curious about the live show coming up and how they’ll pull together the past and the present, the local and global, in their performance!! I cannot wait!!!

    Being from the DC area, it was so fun to learn about the WETA article (revisited recently by WaPO) and the ties between DC, HBCUs, and this significant part of Korean culture!

    ^(will revisit when I’ve listened to the video)

    Also just the message “when the world feels heavy, when your heart feels light, what is your love song?” just feels very BTS

    Those 7 KOREANS went to the US to study and wrote ARIRANG there, BTS ALSO WROTE ARIRANG IN THE US.

    I love that the theory of the 7 Korean students actually turned out to be true 💜 I also love how inspired by history they are with this album, with only one week left( omg!!!) I am getting more and more giddy to hear the album 💜
