  1. is there any way he can press charges and get a restraining order against her or something? I’m European so I have no idea how the legal system works in Korea, just wondering

either way, I’m glad he got home safe, but these incidents really shouldn’t happen 🙁

I’m so sorry this happened to him, but I wish he didn’t post this. I’m not his lawyer, and I don’t know Korean law or policies regarding stalking.

A lot of stalkers crave any kind of attention from their target, and Nichkhun just broadcasted to the world that he remembers them. He knows things about them. I am very worried that Nichkhun may have just given crack to a known addict.

A lot of stalking laws and procedures basically do nothing until someone is murdered. They’re reactive and slow. I know that, and I hate it. But it’s really best to let lawyers/policies/judges do the talking. Document everything, but give the stalker nothing directly.

Now this is refreshing to read from an idol. So blunt human and raw. The parasocial bullshit in kpop needs to end. Good on him! Here’s hoping he psychologically recovers. That note is almost like a wakeup call for the entire industry in how it’s worded. You can tell he worded it in such a way to start a wider industry conversation

  4. Glad to know he’s okay now but I’ve always wondered why society at large don’t take female stalkers seriously enough, as opposed to male stalkers. Most people dismiss these situations by thinking “it’s just another fangirl, oh well” instead of actually being concerned about how dangerous a person with untreated mental health issues can be, regardless of gender. Hopefully she gets a severe sentence and Nichkhun can get appropriate help from professionals who actually care.

  5. Get them Nichkhun!! 30 mins of yelling while he was just out on a walk?? Aint no way…
