> Two months ago, it was BLACKPINK’s Rosé who gave me the unexpected opportunity to perform at the Tokyo Dome🌹
Rehearsals took place around midday on 18 January,
and about five hours later, whilst feeling the energy of tens of thousands of people,
I was able to perform ‘Number One Girl’ alongside Rosé, guitarist Natural, and the band members!
There were solo segments in the order of Jisoo, Lisa, Jennie and Rosé,
with each performing three songs.
On the BLACKPINK World Tour,
it seems the opening track of Rosé’s segment was always performed just by Rosé and Natural,
but on that day alone, I joined them, making it a trio.
Natural was also incredibly kind, and we had a great chat
as fellow guitarists.
Life is a journey where, beyond what we’ve built up,
a vista we’ve never seen before unfolds,
and there lies another path.
It was Chris Martin of Coldplay
who introduced me to Rosé.
I am truly grateful, and Chris himself
was delighted by our collaboration, calling it ‘Amazing!!’.
The pink gradient of the bouquet of roses
I received from Rosé will remain in my heart forever.
And of course, her one-of-a-kind voice and the glances we exchanged
during the songs are treasured memories of mine.
Having gone through these experiences, I shall once again
strum my guitar before the precious audience
who come to each and every performance 🍀
> (The guitar I used on the day was an unreleased
classical-style electro-acoustic guitar from Yamaha ✨)

I guess that’s confirmation that it is 100% Chris Martin from Coldplay that is the writer on Go.
Kind of weird that more wasn’t made of that collaboration, but I suppose the whole roll out was pretty low key.
Anyway, cool to see Rosé mixing with these very talented people. I really hope she works with Chris Martin more, because that bridge on Go is immaculate.
