  1. This toxic bullshit is why I’m getting ridiculously tired of the kpop industry.

  2. No surprise that the company is blaming their idol for even posting about it. These companies want to control everything their artists say.

  3. I was reading the statement and realized they didn’t get law enforcement involved, which is crazy looking at her photos.

  4. Shame they’ve made her have to apologise for some mentalist attacking her! How pathetic

  5. She’s in a rock band, the proper media release for this is “you should see the other guy.”

  6. wtf is this statement?

downplaying the situation and blaming her.

This industry is so uterly toxic and insane sometimes.

  7. are they blaming her….. for saying that she was beat up…..? i didnt see any issue with her post for them to address how she made it

  8. My understanding (and I could be wrong I’m not Korean) is that Korea has some pretty ridiculous defamation laws compared to some western countries and if that person wanted to they could take Hyunjung to court and possibly win.

I get that it might look like the company is blaming her and it might even feel that way to Hyunjung but I think the company is trying to avoid possible legal trouble. This is sometimes why even idols that can push back and fight with sasaengs don’t.

    >Due to legal factors, we are unable to share the details of this incident at this time. This incident involved two parties in which both are at fault and take responsibility for each of their actions. The two have came to an agreement and formally apologized. I hope there won’t be any further misunderstandings.
