Going to my first ever concert, I-dle why are all their previous songs horrible remixes?


I’m going to this years world tour on aug 2 and lately I’ve been seeing concert clips of their title tracks (queencard, nxde, wife) being preformed and they’re all crappy remixes 😭❓

I was hoping for them to do the original choreography, but I saw that’s most likely not going to happen expect their more recent songs but the remixes with the drums and shit sound so bad to meeee. Do they preform the previous original songs as it’s original or JUST the remixes?

    If you want to see a “close to original” performance, you go the music shows. Concerts and mega event performances are almost always remixes or done with a live band.

    Unless they’ve changed it for this tour, I didn’t notice any massive changes when they played Japan last year – they had a live band so the songs actually sounded a lot better.

    Considering the difficulty of the choreography stuff, I’d guess it’s a mercy so that the girls do not hate everything after a long tour. Give them intermissions where they can acknowledge the fans etc and people will say “OMG SHE WAVED BACK AT ME” instead of complain about dancing etc.

    Sounds great to me with the live band. Atmosphere will be everything vs watching some tiktok clip.

    It’s a live show. Just enjoy it. And it’s not a remix. It’s a live performance. They’re doing something special for their fans.

    I-DLE really put on a great show. They mix it up a lot and have fun. Try to have fun with them.
