im sorry but whats the point of changing your stage name when everyone already knows you as a whole other name? gahyun is her real name, who df is seoyul? its a genuine question too im not even trying to hate
also where do they even get these names from? when and where did she decide to say “im changing my name to [insert random korean name]”

Uneducated guy here, but why do idols change there name? Are they trying to distance themselves from being an idol?

As someone who is sort of addicted to kdramas, I’ve seen actors and actresses do this before. This is not that unusual.

I’m just going to assume the name change is to have a fresh start as an actress and separate acting career from idol one ?
Regardless I hope she find success and start getting roles soon. I think she would do great in a fun comedy drama.
