hilarious how many shots they genuinely were in together that were only featured for like a split second in the actual mv lol. still can’t believe how little they actually featured in their own title track video, it’s just a really confusing decision for me (but such a beautiful video!)

Aw that was a sweet lil look into things. Poor hobi he was really out in the elements 😂 it’s always crazy how many people are just out of view in shots. The music video did a good job of making it feel isolated.
The MV looked simple enough but they had to film for three straight days wow. I loved the little moments with the director and staff so much! Tae going “aww” when he wasn’t allowed to help Lili 😭 Jin was indeed terrified up there lol, especially with NAMJOON beside him.
They’re really changing things up with hardly any commentary from the boys (I went and checked and the editing is vastly different from the “Yet to come” MV sketch for eg). I think it’s probably a relief for them though, especially with several of them mentioning getting seasick during. Everything was so aesthetic 🥹 I keep loving SWIM more and more.

Aw man Hobi was absolutely drenched in that freezing weather😭
I am so endeared by them in this vid – probably not as many antics in the behind because there are a lot of safety concerns being on a ship. Kudos to Hobi for filming in a downpour and poor Yoongi looked like he was just cold the whole time. They all look SO GOOD in this MV, I could watch a whole movie of them as sailors on the high seas!
Okay hear me out!! I want to see them perform Swim in that white outfit 😭

It seems that the rain JK had during Golden promotions decided to make a comeback for the full group promotions 🌧️. I feel so bad for them with this weather and the weather in NYC, nothing worse than being wet and cold.
But it looks like they were still having fun, I think I will watch this a few more times.

I think the weather made for a nicer looking MV perhaps? hard to say of course, but sunlight creates such hard lines between the shadows and the light, where the clouds help scatter the light, so it’s softer.
Surprised they were clipped in for everything (but good safety protocols of course), I will see that scene at the end differently, lmao. x’D
