SEVENTEEN will reportedly be opening for Girls' Generation's rumoured 2027 Metagalactic Tour.
This will mark the start of the celebrations for the girl group’s 20th anniversary. The current active SEVENTEEN members have been selected to match SNSD’s legendary lineup for the opening stage. SM Entertainment has teased possible stage covers such as Into the New World and Gee. The company has also said to anticipate 'synchronized leg kicks' which will be visible from outer space. SEVENTEEN member DK is said to be emotionally preparing for the moment since debut.
SEVENTEEN’s general leader, S.Coups, commented: “We are honoured to open for SNSD’s 20th anniversary concert. We have grown up listening to them as SNSD paved the way. Please look favourably towards our opening act.”
