    > A week later and I’m still taking it all in.

    > Wanted to share some never-before-seen behind the scenes photos I took from BTS: The Return – some of the members and some of the many hands that helped carry this film into the world. In the last week, the film reached the Netflix Top 10 in 85 countries, hit No. 1 in 15, rose to No. 3 film globally, and No. 1 doc globally on Netflix. But what has meant the most has been seeing how deeply people have engaged with it.

    > This film was made during a chapter of return, reflection, and renewal. What stayed with me most was not only the scale of BTS, but the humanity within.

    > Thank you to BTS for the trust and openness. I always try to make films with real care for the people in them, so one of the highlights of this past week was seeing the members again after the release and hearing how much they loved the film. That meant a great deal to me.

    > Thank you to HYBE, BIGHIT MUSIC, This Machine, EAST Films, and Netflix for the belief, partnership, and support. Thank you to Bang Si-hyuk, Nicole Kim, Boyoung Lee, and James Shin at HYBE, and at Netflix – Ted Sarandos, Dan Lin, Adam Del Deo, Cameron Jewell, Ariane Wu, Joanne Park, David Ninh, and Jackie Lamaj for helping bring the film into the world.

    > Thank you to our producers: Jane Cha Cutler, R.J. Cutler, Elise Pearlstein, Trevor Smith, Choongeon Lee, Se Jun Lee, Namjo Kim, Mark Blatty, Melissa Robledo, Kyewon Suh, Seonjeong Shin, and Helena Chang.

    > Thank you to our edit team: Jean Rheem, Yeong-a Kim, Stacy Kim, Susan E. Kim, Eugene Yi, Danielle Kim, Kaylee Kim, Jedy Sukandra, and Joe Boo; to Caleb Heller and Churl Gwon for the cinematography; to Gene Back for the music; and to our post/archival team, especially Sam Sibilsky, Ian Egos, Frederik Bokkenheuser and Justin Lenoir.

    > And thank you to ARMY. Your love, devotion, and patience are part of this story too. I know how much BTS means to so many of you, and I never took lightly the responsibility of telling even one small part of this chapter.

    > And finally, thank you to everyone who watched the film. Even if you didn’t love it, I respect that you gave your time to it. That means a lot. BTS: The Return, streaming on Netflix.
