During the Tictic MV Kyujin had the eye patch and now Jiwoo has it. You see those so often in kpop

  1. Stye is pretty common for idols with how often they put on lenses and makeup for long hours each time

Stye and abrasions. Overusage of lens and constant makeup can cause that.

  3. looked it up a bit since it is something I had wondered once

Basically there’s a bunch of eye conditions that could need the eye patch, Keratitis/Stye and etc, they can all result from things like irregular sleep patterns, long time wearing eye makeup and colorful contact lenses (also since they are young and eyes not fully grown), and Dry Eye Disease can be a result in staying in heavily air conditioned rooms a lot.

Yeah it all matches what kpop idols go through, it’s almost like a career disease.

its usually not a huge problem, it could just be pink eye or irritated skin around the eye, the reason they usually cover it with a patch is because one eye with make up and one eye without make up would look pretty weird.

  5. I hate color lenses, also it looks so awkward when a lense shifts, like strabismus

  6. I’m not sure if the eyepatch played a role, but Jiwoo had unreal stage presence and charisma last night in Irving! I feel like the other members get a lot of (well deserved) attention, but Jiwoo lit up the stage!

Lenses, dirty make-up brushes and products, and probably insufficient rest during promotions and travel so their immune systems are weakened at those times

  8. I had no idea these were wore for practical reasons. Even while reading these comments at first, everytime someone said “Stye” I thought they were mispelling “Style”
