I was clowning myself, thinking they’d be launching straight into a full blown new Run BTS episode…. but it was only 12 minutes of brainstorming…. Regardless, I’m looking forward to what the results will be! I personally really hope that Yoongi gets his “let’s all learn instruments and form a band” wish! (and JK briefly tossed out ‘let’s get a pilot license” that everyone ignored but that I could totally see him do)

Suga just circling back to the topic of playing instruments every time reminded me of how in that one episode when Jin was acting as Suga and he just kept on saying how he loves to work, how he carries music equipment everywhere, how working on music is the best feeling and on and on 😭😭😭😭

I’m a little sad that they talked about wanting to change run bts because for me personally run bts is just them being together as 7 and playing random games and clowning and betraying each other for a rice cooker, but I do understand their reasonings. *Especially* with this insane tour schedule coming up. I’m seated for run bts 2.0 regardless, I’m excited to see what kind of ideas they came up with <3

I’m excited for Bangtan to surprise us.
Their conversation really makes me think of how much their enlistment sped up their maturity. It’s just fascinating that it came from not just regular growing pains and life but also being isolated from their friends and family, doing hard labor, and temporarily letting go of their identities in exchange for being in a unit.

Things change, people change, everything change! Ngl, it does sting a little not to have our usual Run BTS back, but it’s also understandable that they want to do different things.
The vibes feel the same though! They’re still Bangtan, and they know each other so well. Hobi is correct that the appeal of Run BTS for me is them joking around and cracking up together, so that’s all I need.
I’m very curious how this will go!! I feel like they teased many things, like a foot volleyball match, an overnight trip, learning English, learning instruments, trading lives, opening a restaurant, reliving the military, and more. Will we get an hour long ASMR guitar footage from Yoongi? Will we see all the members couch rotting when they trade lives?

This felt like a little bit of easing us into not expecting as rigorous a schedule as before. They’ll do what they can, when they can, and it might not always be all seven 🥲 i just hope they keep the episodes not too short. I’m grateful they’re keeping things real, and still trying their best with their schedules. That they even decided to continue this 💜
What I mainly got from this is….Yoongi is so genuinely invested in keeping this long-term that he has thought of actual productive ways to keep them sustainable 😭😭 and he’s NOT letting it go. Hobi and Joon picking up instruments makes me think they’re right there with him. It’s so sweet!

Ok so what have we learned? There will be an overnight trip at some point, they will do Dalbang in units, and instead of being focused on games, Run BTS 2.0 is focused on them doing stuff, learning an instrument, cooking, getting a license…
I imagine it will be in a day-in-the-life format, similar to the vlogs they did? I think this is all a good idea since they will be super busy in the coming year! And tbh I’d watch Run BTS 2.0 in any form as it’s bound to be funny regardless.

I’m not disappointed (🥲) because I just want them to do what they want and recognize that they’re older and might not want to do all the hijinks they used to. But I am a bit sad that seems to be behind us now.
At least we have like 150 episodes to revisit whenever we want!!

although it makes me a bit sad to think we won’t get the old run bts back, I REALLY like the ideas they shared. I think its soo important to me that they are willing to bend the rules of run bts so they can continue doing it. with their packed group schedules AND solo endeavors, if they continue to keep it a show that is basically only filmed at hybe and consistently including ot7, they may have to stop doing it, or it would only be random “special episodes” when it fits their schedules. I love the idea of having unit shoots because I feel like we get to see the smaller dynamics within the group a lot better. I’m so excited to see what they have in store. I always trust the tannies to keep it fun and exciting for us💜

I was left a bit sad by this ngl 😔 I audibly went ‘noooo’ when they suggested doing solo/sub-unit episodes – I get there are practicalities to consider now, but Run BTS is so good because it’s OT7! There’s nothing like the seven of them together – for example I genuinely loved Run Seokjin but the original OT7 version will always hit different.
Also like many others here I was expecting an actual episode today 🙃 I guess we’ll see what next week brings. The trip idea sounds great though, the travel ones are some of my favourite Run episodes!

I like that they discussed swapping lives for a day and then realizing that except for Namjoon they all just do the same thing anyway. 😂 looks like Run BTS 2.0 will be different but I think it will still be lots of fun and I’m sure they will find a way to inject chaos into anything they do, even if it isn’t ot7 every episode. Just look at the vogue cooking TaeJinmin did!

A little sad like a lot of people here about “changes” they want to make…If tannies actually want to make the changes that’s okay but I don’t like them talking about “trends”. During this promotion they have been talking a lot about trends changing and what “new” to bring, which is understandable after being gone for so long. But..it bugs me a bit, I wish they knew they don’t have to try to settle into some “trends”. And if they would be fine with it, we don’t have anything against repeating stuff etc. Do what you want boys BUT don’t feel pressured to change everything just so it fits into what’s trendy:( We loved RUN BTS because it was ot7, genuine and funny. We don’t need some fancy new trends because “varienty shows changed”:( Unless they got bored … I just hope they do it on their own, not being too scared to lose us…

I know change is hard but I think it’s important to let the guys evolve for the sake or their health and longevity.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how the guys seem to protect their relationship a lot more these days. It’s best for them to keep some parts or their relationship just to themselves, they already give enough. We know they spend lots of time together we don’t see and I think thats crucial for the longterm health of BTS as a whole.
Namjoon has been looking especially good these days. Love this fit on him. 🤓

While I completely understand why they are changing Run BTS like this, I’m very disappointed by these changes they’re going to introduce.
I can’t believe how much I used to take the weekly Run BTS episodes for granted in the past. I just…feel like thanking them for doing so much for us. It was not easy.
