The Black Label, Leaving YG, Moves Headquarters to Hannam-dong

> The Black Label is leaving the YG Entertainment building. Having started as a label under YG Ent. in 2016 and using the YG Ent. building in Hapjeong-dong as its headquarters, it has decided to relocate. Notably, behind this relocation is the influence of its early investor,Saehan Venture Capital.

> According to the financial investment industry on the 13th, The Black Label plans to move its headquarters to ‘Hannam W Office’ in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, as early as next month. The Black Label, after the completion and approval for use of the Hannam W Office last June, already conducted a board resolution and even changed and registered the building name to The Black Label.

Everyone is leaving YG, even their sub label, lol.

I guess it’s kinda signaling since last year when their annouce Teddy will co-produce I-LAND 2 with Mnet. Hoping for more active and freedom.

That’s a pretty big move. And a huge building too for a ‘sublabel’ with a whopping 7 floors to themselves.
