When I go to “Your Library” in the desktop version and the app and click on artists it still has all of their old pictures but when you click on them it’s these lovely new ones. I wonder how long it takes for that to update?
Hobi’s picture is from Jack in the Box promo, so I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Yoongi’s is from D-2 promo and I assume it will be changed when his new album comes out and I’m guessing Joon’s will also change when his new album comes out in the next couple of months (so maybe that’s why his wasn’t changed).
I really do like these pictures. I’ve seen a little of the collectors edition on Twitter and TikTok and I’m getting a bit of fomo from not getting it but then I remember the price.

I’m always unsure as to whether BTS/BigHit has control over this, or if it’s like their US label counterpart acting without BigHit’s request, etc. As in, the US label just changes photos at their own whim.

If it was the pre-chapter 2 era, I would have been speculating sub-units based on colors and what not but chapter 2 is all about not knowing what will happen next and going with the flow so all I will say is THEY LOOK SOOO GOOD.
