    Nana Tour really solidified how close they were for me… Mingyu really is Cheol’s favorite child ☺️☺️

    I love them! Their sibling energy is so strong! They’re always annoying each other or mostly mingyu annoying coups. I love the clip from a concert where mingyu is leaning on coups and coups says something like “watch it hyung has started jiujitsu.” and gyu’s just provokes like “what are you gonna do”

    Also love the mingyu melonpan clip but not sure what that says about their bond lol

    Bickering duo: they bicker a lot but know each other’s boundaries well (I do think that, sometimes, the boys would take their comedic roles too far on stage and in gose, but the two of them rarely did that to each other); they both have relatively direct communication styles and are comfortable with expressing affection to each other

    – Scoups has stated multiple times how much he adores Mingyu. I noticed they were closed from the beginning ( Scoups used to headlock Mingyu a lot to the point where they scared poor Dino and the story about ghost started). Also they pranked Jeonghan into calling Mingy sunbaenim because he came earlier than him into Pledis.

    – During their anniversary and when members where imitating each other, Mingyu imitates Scoups and vice versa.

    – in that Don’t lie episode where Scoups betrayed Hannie, he did after agreement with Mingyu.

    – Mingyu is a great partner to have in difficult times—he is so capable and extremely positive and the kind of person that sees challenges as a good thing, which is why Cheollie appreciates him as a motivator. This was brought to my attention in a hilarious way—the first season of in the Soop, Gyu and Cheollie were going to bicycle their way back to camp. Gyu is starting out with a smile, the wind in his face, the open road and golden sky in front of him—interrupted by Cheollie way behind him calling for him to slow down as Cheollie struggles hard to catch up. It’s well known that if Cheollie doesn’t feel like doing something, it’s hard for him to do it even though he knows he should do it—which is why he appreciates Gyu. -It’s funny to see the contrast of both Cheollie the sigher and Gyu’s positivity as remarked by DK and Woozi in Going Radio in the segment about the downsides of having such co-workers, but you can see the benefits of those opposites together—Gyu pushes forward in spite of obstacles while Cheollie slows him down when needed to properly deal with those obstacles.

    -Min Gyu who trained in a cooking school for a few months is the standout—which is why he was Cheollie’s target for part time help in Going Restaurant.

    – in hard times, when Coups had anxiety on stage, Mingy was the first one to notice this

    Seungcheol and Mingyu! A pairing I adore! I just love their energy together. They’re always entertaining to watch. I think st first glance they look very similar, in fact I feel like they have a similar image to more casual fans. Like they get all the “daddy” edits 😅😅😅. People always emphasize on their sexy, dominant aura yet they’re the cuddliest members. A contrast that many love. I feel like together they’re always hugging or touching, the photo/gif thread feels like a hug compilation.

    They’re both very active and athletic and seem to partner up a lot to play different sports (with Jeonghan). Both very athletic and highly competitive! Perhaps the most competitive members? Often picked first when it comes to teams for games. They seem to also go out to eat together a lot. And that’s the thing, even though they appear similar they often mention being very different. It’s so fascinating to me because I get what they mean but yet I can’t help but see how similar they can be. Like when for the anniversary special episode when they had to play each other and they struggled to be distinctive. Even the way the members tease them is similar, I feel like before Mingyu and Dino solidified their reputations as most teased members, Seungcheol was definitely up there too. The members are quick to tease them on how much they show off and I think they both earned themselves a Seventeen imitating session after posting their selcas.

    They bicker a lot, you put them together and they just start bickering, they get this very boyish energy and starts roughhousing too. They remind me of school boys almost?

    I feel like you can either find them pushing each other around, bickering or hugging each other tight, oh or Seungcheol either teasing or gushing over Mingyu 🤣.

    My fav Scoupsie and gyu moments would be
    1. when Scoupsie pinched Gyu’s cheeks after reading a Carat’s comment but when it was Gyu’s turn, he ran away with Gyu chasing him
    2. Gyu buying melon ppang for Scoupsie 💚
