    >Hello,

Over the past two days, speculative articles regarding Hanni’s residency status in Korea have been flooding in, spreading false information.
We would like to clarify the facts.
Hanni obtained a new visa yesterday (2/11) through the proper legal procedures.
ADOR pressured Hanni and her parents by exploiting the sensitive issue of visas, which is particularly crucial for foreign nationals residing in Korea. They demanded that she sign an extension consent form listing ADOR as her agency, sending an email warning that she could become an illegal resident if she refused to comply. Furthermore, they unilaterally submitted personal documents requiring her signature to the relevant authorities without her consent and only notified her afterward—actions that defy common sense.

Some media outlets have irresponsibly used the term “illegal resident” based on unverified information, spreading false rumors and even triggering unnecessary civil complaints. Additionally, articles have cited “anonymous music industry insiders” or “multiple music industry sources” to disclose confidential visa-related details. While today’s reports state that “ADOR could not confirm” the issue, the initial reports claimed, “ADOR prepared all necessary documents for visa extension, but the individual refused to sign.”

With around 70 speculative articles surfacing just in the past two days, personal information regarding visa types and expiration dates—details that should not be publicly disclosed—has been irresponsibly reported, severely infringing on individual rights. It is deeply concerning that such sensitive information, which could only have come from ADOR itself or the individual involved, has been so carelessly spread through the media.
The unauthorized use or leakage of personal information is unacceptable, and it is a serious issue that the media published articles without proper verification. Previously, similar incidents occurred where individuals’ personal details were used to track their immigration records. As these violations continue to escalate, we are considering legal action to protect the members.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. We sincerely apologize for any concerns or discomfort this may have caused to our fans. Please take care of your health. Thank you.
