Hey Carats! I just published a long form piece on my experience at the wild and wonderful BMO show last year in LA.

Here’s a little snippet:

Through the myriad performances BMO Stadium reverberated with the sound of fans singing, screaming, barking, and chanting consistently.

SEVENTEEN, like many other Kpop groups, is direct about their aim to please and bring joy to their fans. They often talk during the show about how much fun they are having, how they want their fans to have fun, and how meaningful the show is to them- because of the fans. From the way the night was seemingly going, the fans were clearly getting the message, and appreciated that it was being shared.

Were you at this show or others on the American tour? Would love to hear from other Carats!

I went to the first day of the NYC concert — my very first time in New York City, which already made it such a thrilling experience. Through Reddit, I connected with some fellow Carats, and I even got the chance to meet them in person. We ended up going to the concert together in one of the girls’ cars, which was such a fun way to start the concert

Arriving at the Carat Zone and picking up our photocards was so exciting! As the concert time got closer, the temperature dropped and we were freezing — or at least *I* was, coming from Mexico and not used to that kind of cold. But once we entered the venue, the tiredness and the chill completely disappeared..

My seat had been bought kind of randomly, so I wasn’t sure how good it would be… but it turned out to be *amazing*! I could see everything with my bare eyes, no screen needed. The performances, the atmosphere, the energy — everything was top notch. I felt so happy I chose the NYC date. Even though the venue was smaller, it made the whole experience feel more intimate and homey — absolutely perfect for me.

This was my very first SEVENTEEN concert, and from that moment on, I promised myself I’d try to see them every time I could—of course, always being financially responsible. I recently saw them again in Monterrey at Tecate Pa’l Norte, and without a doubt, I’ll keep going to see them whenever they go on tour!

I’ve been a K-pop fan for over 12 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever bought merch and gone to concerts for a group. Why? Because they’re *so* worth it. They’re the IDOLS.
