(Xports News, Reporter Kim Ye-eun) The group BLACKPINK has proceeded with music video filming ahead of their comeback.

According to Xports News coverage on the 9th, BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa) conducted music video shooting for their new song at a location in Seoul over the weekend.

BLACKPINK is preparing for a full group comeback in the latter half of this year. This will be their first album in about 3 years since releasing their 2nd full-length album in September 2022, and their first album after re-signing with YG Entertainment.

BLACKPINK’s comeback in the latter half of the year was officially confirmed last month. This is because YG’s chief producer Yang Hyun-suk previewed the release of BLACKPINK’s new song. The members are indeed accelerating their comeback preparations by proceeding with music video shooting.

Particularly, BLACKPINK members have been focusing on solo activities since leaving YG in 2023. Jennie, Rosé, Lisa played a global role as solo artists, and in the case of Jisoo, she showed a colourful appearance by performing and acting as a solo singer.

BLACKPINK, who has proven their great influence as a solo artist, is coming back together after about 3 years and returning to his fans. In July, a new world tour will be opened at the Goyang Sports Complex.

If we go by how long it took them to shoot and release their solo videos (about a month-ish) I’d say the release date is gonna be July 4th lol. First performance will be day 1 of the tour

I really hope the album comes out before the tour starts lol
