According to the final projections Golden beat out Ordinary by a tenth of a point which is the equivalent of a few thousand streams. Goes to show you that every stream matters.

There have been artists and songs from relevant categories that have done each of these, which in itself is a great achievement. EDIT: I believe just Dynamite has achieved two concurrently (cmiiw), nevertheless three (Netflix being a super unique one)

First off, the Honmoon is sealed! Even “Let It Go” didn’t reached the heights that “Golden” has.
Secondly, EJAE is gonna get PAID! And I’m talking about Lin-Manuel Miranda level money in Hollywood to write and compose songs now. Sony/Netflix need to get her locked down ASAP before Disney tries to steal her away to make their own KDH rip-off. Also, she should drop an album or single right now to capitalize on all this success because she’s the talk of the town right now.
Thirdly, thank God that overrated, boring ass, milk-toast, fraudulent #1 “Ordinary” has finally gotten knocked off the #1 perch. If it wasn’t for Alex Warren and his label buying up all the radio play that song would have never stayed there for so long. Sucks that it took a global phenomenon to knock it off though, radio play needs to be less of a criteria for the Hot 100 going forward.
Lastly, Huntr/x being the only Kpop group to win a Grammy and Oscar in the same year is gonna be fun trivia in the future.
