250901 Wendy – Federation of Korean Music Performers welcomes Wendy as their 50,000th member

Singer Wendy of the group Red Velvet has become the 50,000th member of the Korea Music Performers’ Association (KMPA).

KMPA, a copyright neighboring rights management organization for music performers, announced on the 1st that its membership had surpassed 50,000, with Wendy marking this milestone as its symbolic member.

At the commemorative ceremony, Wendy attended in person and received a congratulatory cake inscribed with “Welcome Wendy” along with a bouquet of flowers from KMPA officials, posing for commemorative photos. During the event, there was also a special moment where Wendy broke a ball-shaped cake adorned with a tiara decoration using a small hammer.
