Hi so I’m going to today concert at the Kia forum and I know for a fact I’m supposed to have vip I mean I’m just a few seats from barricade! I bought my tickets from resale and seatgeek contacted the seller and their trying to say the ticket was put down as “standard ticket” which wouldn’t make sense at all considering I’m right by the stage 😭so now it says “free transfer” for the ticket and I’m just confused because even in the past when I’ve bought resale from seatgeek or ticket master it always transfers over regardless of it being resale. (Does anyone know if the Kia forum honors vip benefits if it’s literally a vip seat?)

Yesterday, I received my ticket for the SF show from StubHub. I spoke with them today and they told me that they can’t do anything because the seller did not input VIP benefits. I’m pretty sure it has benefits since it’s 3rd row from barricade, but they did advise me to speak with staff at the venue to identify the benefits with the seat and that they might allow me to claim it. Definitely speak with staff and/or box office to see if they can help you out. Fingers crossed that they aren’t having a bad day.
I was told by Ticketmaster that VIP benefits are not included in resale tickets. Unless you get buyers ID, that’s the only way. I also in the same boat.
