Thoughts on chanyeols youtube content? I wasnt keeping up with it but watched this video of him visiting kai for his showcase and this part kinda hit me. I wonder if he is actually just joking or he truly feels this way?

This is the natural trajectory for all groups but it must be hard to go through.

  1. I don’t think he meant in a sad way, it’s expected for a 13 year old group to have past fans who still, however, are excited enough to talk to one of the members. There are plenty of exols still and he’s aware of it, it’s just an obvious change to the past since “former fans” don’t usually go up to idols like this.

  2. If I were a fan I’d phrase that sentence differently, or add to it. 😅 I can see Chanyeol feeling a bit taken back by such bluntness. Although like a previous comment stated, it must be nice not to be bombarded with fans all the time like in the past.

  3. Most exo fans in Korea have grown up with the band and are now past their mid-twenties, they won’t be running towards the guys screaming oppa (minus the ones that go to the airport, I guess). It’s a different kind of energy from 10 years ago, when teenagers would be chasing them on the streets (this is no exaggeration, there is footage of Xiumin running away from his fansites).

Is it weird that I actually like this for him/them? Allow me to expound. They’re now more free to go about their daily lives san all the attention (both good and bad). They’ve achieved immense success, and it’s just time for them to just chill, deal with less intense situations e.t.c. I get that it can be a bit sad especially to them but boy, if I saw how intense things can get for the likes of SKZ..I’d be thanking the Heavens I was done with that part😂(for context, just imagine a SKZ member now revealing their partner). Hopefully EXO-Ls have grown up so that when they get their partners/live life, it won’t be a “problem”.
