FOCUS is so f(x) coded with a hint of SNSD.
I think people will love the b-sides more than Focus (which Koreans will like it).

Flutter is EXTREMELY Red Velvet “Velvet”, and not a single complaint from me on that. I’d say THIS is where SM has decided to throw the “Velvet” songs lol. Don’t know why I’m surprised given their previous releases, but I didn’t expect the mini to be so R&B leaning… and it’s so my style (no pun intended) 😭😭😭😭
Everything feels like a bop, and they will be going into my playlist. Focus is a solid one, it does feel like The Chase sister, where it focus on the instrumental and dance. Apple Pie is my favourite out of all. Pretty Please is not really my favourite, but it sounds like h2h. Flutter with that fall lalala sounds like RV song, like doesn’t RV have something quite similar to that part? Blue Moon sounds like Butterflies, but with more serious tone?
Overall, it’s a solid album, very h2h sounds. I love when they all started harmonising on their chorus. I hope we could get a performance video on every songs. Also, i wish we kinda get 1 more song 😅
