The visuals are seriously INSANE here! They all look more handsome than ever, but it’s also their acting and cinematography that is stunning.
I expected to love the song based on the teaser, but it’s the visuals that actually have me gagged. Their make up, all the special effects… They’ve always had excellent videos but this one might be my favourite since the masterpiece that Firework is. They’ve all matured into their looks now I think, which definitely helps!
On 1st listen, the song itself seems a little less dynamic than what I’d hoped, but I appreciate the length and will give it time to grow on me. Onto the album now!

Listen, when there’s a cinematic MV I usually say “I’d watch that movie”, but I fear I might be too much of a scaredy-cat for this one. What in the Alien was that black goo and the crawling black creatures 😭 (Banger song though)

so so so so so good. glad they spent some coin on their Korean debut and didn’t just half arse it. they look insane and the song is a perfect blend into their discography. I’m so happy for them and looking forward to whatever else is in store for this roll out 😬

That prechorus feels really long in a good way, like the momentum never stops building. The last 20 seconds with just the muffled melody surprised me, since hybe really loves to keep things brief to leave people wanting more. Pleasantly surprised with the structure of the song and it being 3:20.

Omg K’s venom scene?? That was heartbreaking, he acted so well. All of the visuals are really cool.
And the song is so good!! I love the dark emotional vibe and that the back to life meaning is a perfect fit for making their official Korean debut.

Holy shit that mv is insane!! They are look amazing but Jo??? His presence is the last few comebacks has been crazy and you know what, I love to see it. And the song is just as good, definitely going to be on repeat.
I’m excited to see that dance practice though 👀

The budget is huge. So many sets, special effects and extras. They broke the bank with this one. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the more horrorish elements tho, the black goo and the weird black creature but they serves the concept they were going for well and ig it’s perfectly themed for Halloween. I also wish that they had more unique distinctive outfits on but ig this fit the rough look they were going for best.
As for the song. I like the chorus and prechorus a lot. I really do. I like but don’t love the verses. I think i was expecting or hoping for something a bit different after the medley and teaser, more dynamic and explosive. I like the song but it’s not one of my favorites in their discography like I was hoping for but good enough. I can’t wait for the full album tomorrow. Mismatch, Lunatic and Rush sounds so good.
