He couldn’t sleep yet so he turned on the live for a bit. He has schedules tomorrow so he didn’t want to do it too long since he should get some sleep.
He went to work out with Sunghoon today after a while (about 5 days?) and Sunghoon is really good. They are quite busy preparing for both year end shows and comeback so he hasn’t been working out a lot, so he went today.
He really liked the hanbok fits from the previous day’s U&I concert and the arrangement for Bad desire too it all went nicely together with the Palace in the background.
Someone commented that he looks scary (it was very dark and red), he responded that he can’t help it he likes dark things, doesn’t like the sun so he likes his blackout curtains too.
They are preparing for the year end performances even though they don’t have a lot of time, Ni-ki also likes the year end, even thought it’s very busy it’s good to have a lot of different performances and be able to show/see engenes a lot.
He can’t say when the comeback is, there might be some overlap he doesn’t know (*with year end period I think? That’s usually november-january/february – not sure how he meant!! He either didn’t want to spoil or they haven’t nailed down the date yet*). They are preparing diligently for it. Music show promotions are tiring/they work hard for them but he knows it’s also be tiring for engenes who stand in line and wait for long periods on those days. It’s not just them working hard but engenes too with the pre-recording, mini fan meet etc. Feels like the last music show promotions have been a long time ago now he wants to promote again quickly, he’s preparing hard for the comeback he really wants to show engenes, it’s the most intense (?).
The new song and choreo are really good, he still has the song(s) on his playlist he doesn’t think he’ll get tired of it even while promoting. They have choreo videos for monitoring and he watches that a lot too. Previously his favourite has been the 5th track multiple times but it’s the title for the next album. He really likes the new song/album so even though the tour just ended he’s looking forward to perform the new song(s) at concert too.
They didn’t have a lot of time to prepare or the concert (they didn’t have time to film a dance practice video either), and in the end he only practiced it about 3 times outside of rehearsal because there were many changes to it along the way (setlist changed, they had changes in the vision and dancers were added?). So when he was doing it at the concert after a long time he wasn’t 100% confident with it. So when he was alone down on the lift without the other members he was getting nervous, and he went in with the thought that if he messes it up he will just freestyle and that helped. If you think about messing up that’s how you make mistakes. Since they have been promoting for 5 years now he knows how to handle nervousness or mistakes. Thankfully it all went well and he could perform it as planned.
He said the fansign was nice he could see fans even if bad desire promos ended a while ago.
He’ll probably do a bit of voice live or something tomorrow too.
