NiziU’s Nina is rumored to be dating a guitarist who is 9 years older than her…JYP Entertainment: “They are just senior and junior on close good terms”**
Nina, a member of the Japanese girl group NiziU of JYP Entertainment, was rumoured to be dating Hiroto Wakai, a guitarist of the popular Japanese band Mrs. GREEN APPLE.
On November 4th (local time), Japan’s Weekly Bunshun reported that Nina recently had a late-night date at Hiroto Wakai’s home.
It is said that the two of them formed a relationship with the help of Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s vocalist Motoki Omori who wrote and composed NiziU’s ‘AlwayS’.
However, both sides denied the dating rumors.
First of all, JYP Entertainment explained the relationship between the two people on YTN star today (November 5th), “They are just senior and junior on close good terms, and it is not a romantic relationship”.
Hiroto Wakai’s agency, Project-MGA, said through local Japanese media, “There are parts that are different from the facts, but it is basically the artist’s private life.”
Nina, who was born in 2005, debuted in Japan as a member of NiziU in 2020, and officially debuted in Korea in October 2023.
Hiroto Wakai was born in 1996, and Mrs. GREEN APPLE is a band that has released many popular hits such as ‘Inferno’. Last February, he visited Korea and held a solo performance.

This whole thing took of like wildfire when there was no actual proof of anything in the first place. The only actual evidence they had of anything was that Nina started playing guitar on stage during this tour, and he’s a guitar player LMAO.
Some people were being so nasty to her and NiziU online, so I hope this blows over quickly.
