Jessica really has terrible luck to the point it’s funny. She was just doing her job but the conflict between the two companies is somehow being shifted onto her. In the legal documents revealed there’s no mention of her name and two senior executives of the company even told reporters that Jessica is no longer a contracted artist with them, and that this case is unrelated to her, yet she’s getting harrassed. It’s good that Coridel Entertainment announced strong legal action.

  2. The one commenter who said “she left SNSD and all she has to show for it are a bunch of lawsuit” really hit the nail on the head.

  3. Man. This situation has been really weird, and I’m not entirely sure what to think here. This is the second Chinese agency to sue her and Cordiel Entertainment. Cordiel has said this suit is with them, not Jessica, but Jessica is specifically named in this lawsuit. I’m not sure why her agency would say that when we can clearly see her name, but okay. Sure.

At this point, I hope Jessica gets a reaaaally good lawyer and defends herself. I don’t really trust Cordiel to protect her, especially with what we know about the issues at B&E…it’s just a damn shame.

  4. Is this old news? It says the court announcement was issued on March 13th and the court hearing scheduled for August 19, 2025. Which was 3 months ago, but the article is talking about it like it’s some date in the future. Why is this just being reported now?
