Holy Gundam/etc. assemble! A bunch of Kpop music videos for this past year have these mecha/etc. features, lol, it’s meccha cool.
This Super Model music video is one of the best of the year when it comes to the frenetic editing/et cetera, like wow, some scenes were so cinematic/fourth wall/et cetera, I love it. I had to rewatch it like 4 or so times to fully grasp the amazing shots they did.
The song is pretty nice as well, I’m still in love with 4 Life though.

Like today for their 1st mini album, VVON, it’s one of the better ones of the year too, and thankfully they also released the instrumentals-only versions of the tracks.
House Party has a fun music video to accompany the relentless beat, it’s got a modern Eastern/Western mix to it with the sets/themes/et cetera.
INVESTED IN YOU has that catchy VVUP vocals and instrumentals that I truly adore, it’s fantastic, their flow is so satisfying. They need to make a music video or a special video at least for it.
Giddy Boy is from half a year ago now and I wasn’t really a fan of it back then but I see what they’re going for, lol. Cuz these other music videos and tracks have so much going on and so it’s a nice cleanser, before one of my personal Song of the Year material release, 4 Life.

4 Life has a (full version) special video and I’ve already written so many praises about it since its release back in January 2025.
But lemme restate again that it’s one of my favorite songs, and such a hidden gem of 2025, wish more people knew about it back then so that the group could’ve had a breakout hit moment and so on.
As in VVUP’s 4 Life is probably in my Top 10 Kpop songs of 2025. Scratch that, it’s probably one of my favorite songs of Kpop history at this point. Because it has a classic American pop/Kpop/etc. sound, like literally the first second I heard the instrumentals, I was like holy moly, this is a certified bop already. Then paired with that beautiful wintry music video or special video and it elevates the track to a whole different level, absolutely marvelous efforts for the heavens.
The best part? 4 Life is nearly 4 minutes long, a rarity in Kpop/et cetera these days, like wow, when do you get such a delightful track with such a beautiful execution.

For real, I have 4 Life up there with NMIXX’s Papillon (my personal SOTY still since its release, it would’ve been maybe 4 Life otherwise), VVS’s FACT$ (the catchiness and replay value of this song is undeniable, it’s set in Japan too, like 4 Life, except instead of Hokkaido’s seemingly tranquil snow it’s like the actual bustling Tokyo metropolis), et cetera as the best Kpop songs of 2025, period.
Something about VVS’s FACT$ and VVUP’s 4 Life resonate with my soul as both songs are such great classic performances, beautiful soundscapes and vocals delivery as well, just wow.
Legit fam, hopefully VVUP and these other underrated/underappreciated/etc. groups will eventually get their accolades and even more serious/dedicated/etc. fans, because their discographies are so good, such wonderful performances.

Woah, the budget for this music video is huge!
I think they’ve started getting bigger budgets recently. House Party also had really great too
