  1. We all knew this would happen eventually and I’m beyond satisfied they lost #1 to Hwasa’s Good Goodbye, poetic end and a good goodbye indeed.

Blue Valentine could still get to the top every now and then. But that was one heck of a run for NMIXX and NSWERs. Everything still feels surreal, in the best way possible.

If you told me before we’d ever have a number one hit, I’d call you crazy. The fact it lasted so long on number one is more than enough, and on top of that winning a grand slam of shows.

I don’t expect a repeat, and the girls themselves said they hope to be about to outdo this comeback (or at least something along the lines); I’m just glad they’ll always know they have NSWERs no matter what.

  3. Ngl I’m not at all disappointed here. NMIXX got their fair share of #1s, and Hwasa definitely deserves this.

Good Goodbye is such a beautiful song, and it’s my fav song by her since Maria. I hope she stays at the top for a while.

  4. It was a good run, and if you have to lose the crown it is very fitting to lose it to a member of the group that very much feels like the “proto-NMIXX” (absolute goofball comedians who are also phenomenal singers), Mamamoo.

  5. I wasn’t sure who would overthrow Blue Valentine, but I’m very glad it was Good Goodbye. I’ve heard very nice things it and noticed how it slowly crept up the charts as weeks gone by. Congratulations to Nmixx and Blue Valentine for doing so amazingly. It went above and beyond everyone’s expectations. I’m so happy the girls were able to see just how much they’re loved. And congratulations to Hwasa and Good Goodbye!!

  6. All good things must come to an end eventually. Blue Valentine had one hell of a run on Melon, a run I honestly never expected coupled with an equally incredible near-sweep of the music shows.

That the streak was broken by a former Mamamoo member, with THAT title, is a perfect end.

Our girls have already moved on to the next stage: preparing for their first full concert tour (not sure why their 2023 Showcase Tour doesn’t count but oh well). More to look forward to!

  7. stooppp I’m gonna cry, both of these songs are so precious! Idk if it’s the weather but these 2 songs just make my heart ache so good.

  8. if Blue Valentine was dethroned, I’m okay with either Hwasa or Davichi.

    good thing it wasn’t ADPayola

Happy it’s Hwasa, Queen deserves it. Incredible voice and what a phenomenal song that transcends Kpop

I think Blue Valentine isn’t done with the charts yet!
