I think they purposely choose unique spellings so that you can easily find them on the internet. Searching “Coer” will lead to Cortis a lot faster than looking up “Core” would.

Maybe it’s because I was preparing for way worse after seeing some of the fans’ suggestions lol, but I like it! I originally liked the idea of ‘core’, I just thought that written like that it looked too simple and too on the nose, but they’ve found a way around it

As much as the wordplay of core is Alright and even Wonderful in Kpop 2025, I wonder if we’ll get a backronym for this name ala u/boringestlawyer flair & TXT’s fandom name, as people have noticed Big Hit group names have those.
