You can open these easily without damaging anything inside. The only true way to see if its real is connecting it to the official CandyBong app. (Also it uses 3 AAA batteries)

I remember someone saying to look for that JYP sticker when determining if a light stick or album is real. Thereβs one on the box so I assume itβs real but you can also test if it connects to the official app

FYI to everyone who says that if it connects to Bluetooth it’s real, there are REPLICAS that DO CONNECT
I was specifically looking for a fake candybong in places like AliExpress, Shoppe, Mercado Libre (local similar page) and I found some that are half the price of an original one and do connect and there are some others that are even cheaper and those don’t connect
The difference that I found in those replicas was that the yellow looked fluorescent yellow instead of the pretty sunny yellow the official ones have, not all of them are like that but at least that’s the difference I noticed between my replica and my real one

Fake light sticks are found on taobao/alibaba type sites. The chances of a Korean seller importing fake light sticks to sell them to you on Amazon is almost zero percent chance.

The only way to know for sure is if it will connect to the companion app.
