I am a new carat and I am binge-watching all their contents. Recently I came across this VLive of 2016 of Seungkwan's birthday. I truly don't know the context but members said he had been crying a lot, I am guessing he cried because they won their first win or prize, dunno. Then he said he called his family but they had all forgotten it was his birthday. Scoups comforted him saying at least the members know. When Seungkwan kept being down, Scoups asked him whether he wanted seaweed soup and Seungkwan said Jun once tried to make it but ended up getting one from the convenience store. Seungkwan was still sluggish, so Dino asked what he wanted. In the end, Scoups offered to buy chicken feet for Seungkwan.
It kept me thinking. We all know Seungkwan is one of the most emotional members, very soft and kind, and savage when he wants to. But when it's his birthday all members show up at 12 o'clock sharp to congratulate him. I wonder if it's because of moments like this.
For example, during his 2021 birthday live, Scoups said jokingly Seungkwan is being too much asking for gifts when all members congratulated him, then making a comparison to himself where they didn't do that (12 o'clock sharp). Still, he later offered to buy Seungkwan a Samsung Ultra, haha.
Do you guys have any insight? I am just trying to understand their dynamics~ I think instances like this really show a bit of who is younger and who is older, with older members feeling responsable for the younger ones.
