    >Nana is being sued by the man who broke into her home for “attempted murder”.
    >
    >The intruder, who is already on trial for serious robbery and assault, claims that Nana tried to kill him during the incident. Police had earlier said that Nana was acting in self-defense.
    >
    >Nana’s legal team says they will take every possible legal step to make sure the intruder is held fully responsible.

I hope Nana and her team ensure that intruder is put away in prison for a long time because wtf.🤬

  2. This is insane. So she and her mom get attacked at her home and this dude has the fucking nerve to sue because he didn’t get to potentially murder them or whatever he wanted to do. I’m sick.

You literally left her mother unconscious and hospitalized bro what the hell are you on 😭 why do the dumbest people have the most audacity?

That home intruder better not win the case or something is really wrong with the system there

  5. So you attempted to rob and assault someone and now are suing because the person who you tried to rob and assault assaulted you back in self defense?

An easy case for Nana to win. May the robber never have an ounce of peace.

  6. If this isn’t an easy win for Nana, then this justice system is absolutely screwed

This reminds of when the guy who stole gaga’s dogs sued for the reward. Some people are just clinically insane

Its almost as if he wouldnt have almost died if he wasnt in her house…crazy how that works

Anyone familiar with Korean law know if this has a leg to stand on? I’ve heard horror stories from other countries that give me pause, but maybe the intruder is being played for a fat paycheck by his lawyers. Hopefully.

Still the kind of pain and stress this guy continues to inflict on Nana and her family is just abhorrent.

We went from “I didn’t know this was a celebrity’s house” to “I’m gonna sue you.” How amusing.

  11. ‪And she would’ve been well within her rights. You break into someone’s house you forfeit your life. Your home is your castle, simple. If you’re bold enough to break in, it’s logical to assume you have a weapon. Don’t commit crimes dumbass‬

  12. Sounds like the prosecutor needs to add harassment, intimidation, and whatever-else-is-applicable charges. And, Nana should countersue for good measure.

  13. Next update on this case should be the court allowing Nana and her mom to whoop his a$$ again.

  14. Oh, so there’s the *one* reason besides copious amounts of ridiculous fried foods that I appreciate about how we can handle business in my country.

That is so absurd Nana and her mother must deal with this frivolous crap—I have no remorse for someone trying to toy with people and crying foul so pathetically.

  15. Her having to pay for attorneys and waste her time with this should be a crime honestly.

She really should counter sue for emotional damage.

  16. There’s a reason why Asian countries dont fight back or help someone who’s getting attacked. They will get sued.

Imagine being a man, getting your ass whooped by a 100 lbs woman. And having (?) the balls to sue her?

I’ve never seen a weaker man than this. Pathetic.

Do judges in Korea throw out cases? If so, this one needs to be tossed straight to the garbage.

American doesn’t do many things right but Stand Your Ground laws seem like they should apply universally.

South Korea is notorious for its extreme abuse of lawsuits. It’s a truly insane situation. The lack of trust in the courts and prosecutors was widely publicized after the recent coup. The scope of self-defense is so vague that it’s not uncommon for defenders to become criminals. Human rights are important, but the rights of criminals seem even more important. In particular, some argue that con artists with more than ten criminal convictions should be required to reveal their faces.

  21. Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction. Dude broke into her house with a weapon and knocked her mother unconscious, but is surprised she tried to end his ass.

I don’t care what the law is, if someone breaks into your house with a weapon, you should be under the assumption that both of you know their life is forfeit.

I thought the police already ruled that the injury the armed robber suffered from Nana was self defence? So how could he still sue for attempted murder when it’s already ruled as self defence?

  23. I really hope it gets thrown out but I do not have faith in the system. Really hope it does.
