  1. >The report states that THE BOYZ, who are managed directly under ONE HUNDRED, are currently owed about 1 billion won in unpaid wages. EXO’s Baekhyun, who is under the label INB100, is also owed around 1 billion won, while Chen and Xiumin are each owed hundreds of millions of won more.

    >Taemin, who joined BigPlanetMade, is reportedly owed well over 1 billion won as well. Altogether, the total unpaid amount for artists under the ONE HUNDRED structure is estimated to be around 5 billion won.

    for conversion purposes

THE BOYZ – 1 billion KRW = about 700k USD

EXO Baekhyun – 1 billion KRW = about 700k USD

EXO Chen & Xiumin – “*each owed* hundreds of millions of won more [than 1 billion won]” = more than 700k USD

SHINEE Taemin – “well over 1 billion KRW” = more than 700k USD

700k USD is equal to roughly

    = 520k GBP

    = 597k EUR

    = 960k CAD

    = 3.865M BRL

    = 41.204M PHP

    = 900k SGD

    = 63.141M INR

    = 12.571M MXN

    = 4.897M CNY

    = 109.843M JPY

  2. SHINee and EXO really cannot catch a break 🙃

edit: apparently the company has denied it and is going to sue the source?

  3. Between this and the “[MC Mong, Cha Ga-won entangled in escalating One Hundred power struggle](https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/1py6okk/mc_mong_cha_gawon_entangled_in_escalating_one/)” story from a few days ago, I don’t even know what to make of what’s going on here.

Like…. for starters, if One Hundred really is this deep in the hole, why would Gawon’s uncle be trying to seize management control?

Why did someone circulate rumours that Mong is sleeping with Gawon?

If non-payment is the real reason for why CBX is having difficulty being part of EXO, why haven’t we heard about it before?

Is Viviz caught up in all this too? And how long are they going to put up with it?

Each news that comes out of one hundred just makes everything look messier, now we know why cbx can’t pay SM their dues. I spent a lot of time questioning *why* (why!!!) were they so hung up on the payment issue when there’s a literal exo cb happening, turns out they haven’t been paid.

  5. The company released a statement denying it:

    Hello,
    This is ONE HUNDRED.
We are issuing a statement regarding today’s (2nd) The Fact article.

The so-called ‘unpaid settlement’ mentioned in the article is currently being negotiated and adjusted according to each artist’s contract and activity.

The Fact’s article is inaccurate and it is very regrettable that it was published without verification or providing a right to respond.

Because this could harm the image of our artists, we will take strong legal action.

Our artists and staff have no conflicts with the company and are continuing their activities diligently. Chairman Cha Ga‑won is also doing her best to support the artists.

The growth of ONE HUNDRED, Big Planet Made, and INB100 has been achieved through active investment.

We will hold the media and false informants fully accountable for any false reports.
We will never forgive The Fact and the false informants who attempted to destabilize the company and artists through this article.

Once again, we emphasize that the article did not properly guarantee the right to respond, and we will submit a formal mediation request to the Korean Press Arbitration Commission immediately.

The truth of this matter will be clarified through legal procedures.

    Thank you.
    ONE HUNDRED

.edit: not sure if the settlement means there were indeed unpaid wages or if it is about something else, I will have to read in more detail about this when I get the time

IF this is true, then THIS is a good example of what would actually stand in court for demanding contract termination.
