    >HYBE and its subsidiary label BELIFT LAB have launched an unprecedented international legal action against an overseas malicious commenter who has been spreading false information about their artists. After securing information on an anonymous account through a U.S. court, the companies have also completed a request for preservation of evidence with an Argentine Federal Civil and Commercial court, where the suspect is believed to reside.
    >
    >A preliminary evidence request is a legal procedure used before filing a full lawsuit to ensure that crucial evidence is preserved and not destroyed.
    >
    >If the court approves the request, local telecommunications companies or internet service providers (ISPs) will be required to preserve subscriber information linked to the IP address. Based on the identity obtained through this process, HYBE and BELIFT LAB plan to file a civil lawsuit in Argentina and proceed with further civil and criminal legal actions.
    >
    >The target of this action is an anonymous X user who has been active on the platform. Since opening the account in March of last year, the user posted more than 3,000 messages, repeatedly spreading malicious attacks against HYBE and artists under BELIFT LAB.
    >
    >Key posts allegedly included groundless and defamatory claims such as: that artists were forced to attend specific political events; that private messenger conversations of former CEO Min Hee-jin were illegally obtained and that HYBE had improper relationships with judges to influence court rulings.

Hybe can’t sue their way out of being the biggest joke in kpop. The listed reasons either don’t involve their artists at all or only tangentially do. Sounds less like they don’t want you to slander their artists and more like they don’t want you to criticize them as a company.
