    Never clicked a notification this fast. I am extremely excited because I’ve been waiting for this for sooo long, yet slightly disappointed because it is a mini album.

    I legitimately thought I was hallucinating when I saw the title.. this feels unbelievable. The fact that it’s only a mini album sucks a little considering how much time passed since their last proper comeback, but still.. FINALLY ! I cannot wait to see the concept teasers etc.. ahhhhh ! 😭

    They listened to my calls for an announcement! Mini album hurts a bit especially considering Jump will probably be taking up a spot, but its their first album in years so I’ll take it 😭🙏

    Sorry to be negative but a mini album after all this waiting is hugely disappointing. I’m happy we’re getting new music, but 4 songs after 3+ years…and nearly a whole year of anticipation since the tour was first announced…this comeback has been really disorganized in a way that their prior comebacks, despite following long hiatuses, never were.

    I want to give them grace because the girls’ solo promotions probably ran longer than expected. But honestly they should not have scheduled a tour without an album already done/close to being done. Hindsight is 20/20 but man, I’ve been a fan for nearly 10 years at this point and I’ve never felt this disappointed with a comeback announcement before.

    I’m dead, they really called it Deadline. It was funny the first time around but not so much when it’s 7 months after the tour started lmao

    Also, a mini album? I’d say it’s shameful but I don’t think YG has the capacity to feel shame. I definitely think Jump is also going to be on it so *maybe* they’ll stretch it to 5 tracks instead of their usual 4.

    I expected this but YG’s musical output is shockingly low now, between BM, Treasure and BP that’s 14 songs since December 2024, if you include the guy from AKMU that’s only 21 songs.

    So 3, max 4 songs. One will be Jump. That leaves us with max 3 new songs, but with the risk of including The Girls, which would leave us with 2 new songs only. Years waiting, all for this.

    Meanwhile the girls while managing their own career have had time to release full albums longer than any they’ve released as BP, film shows, dramas, variety shows… So clearly, they aren’t the problem.

    YG, sigh…

    I’m so glad the girls chose to take their solo careers elsewhere, because if it wasn’t for that, we still would not have more than 3 songs for any of them.

    How am I happy that’s it’s here. Yeah it’s sucks it’s a mini but most Blinks knew it would be a mini at best. A full album won’t happen for a long time unfortunately.

    I want to scream, cry, jump, throw up, celebrate and run 100 miles at the same time but AAAAAAAAAAH! Can’t believe that it’s finally happening and at this point I don’t even care that it’s a mini album.

    Even if we only get 3 new songs, if those 3 songs are bangers (as they most likely will be, given their track record), I’ll be extremely happy.

    You take what you can get at this point in their careers, and 3 solid bangers that will last me a LIFETIME? Sign me up.

    I love blackpink but bfr a freaking mini album? AGAIN? The tour started without a comeback last year and it’s almost done and no full album? Ridiculous

    This teaser is underwhelming compared to their last one😔 im happy but a little disappointed. In fact very disappointed. BTS is coming back and yg doesnt want to up their game. Things are not like before.

    my honest opinion, i welcome you all to tell me if you think otherwise

    – yg has almost no control over the girls. you can see that from his video updates, he seemed to have little idea as to what’d be going on other than a little progress update. as the ceo, blackpink is their biggest assets, every moves have huge implications to their stock price, who wouldn’t wanna promote the tour with the girls faces on… the only PR ot4 photo is from jump. if i were him ill try to milk every single piece of material of them and he has got none. so i don’t think the man is to blame, he seems to be in constant standby for the girls

    – im a proud blink of all the achievements they have gotten, especially for their solo acts. they are relentlessly churning out new acts ever since Born Pink. while im happy they are realising their dreams in their own ways, what i have problem with is the way they “PLANNED” for blackpink. i mean you did extend your contract as blackpink, and promised a tour, and now you’re putting out a Deadline album AFTER the tour, with no promotion whatsoever, and wdym it’s the end of tour without an australian leg??? im disappointed at how they put out things randomly, seemingly without any thoughts for blinks.

    i mean then what was / is the deadline tour? a money making campaign?

    if there’s not Part II of Deadline i’ll be very disappointed
