  1. **Tidbit from Variety:**

    >According to end-of-year Nielsen data, the Netflix title is by far the most-streamed movie of 2025 with a whopping 20.5 billion viewing minutes in the U.S. alone. Dividing that by the film’s 99-minute runtime gives the equivalent viewership of 207 million full movie watches.

Suffice it to say, KPDH is part of the pop culture zeitgeist.

  2. Deserved to be honest. It’s a great anime which also have influence of k-pop in general.

It has a story well written like many movies. Frozen so to speak but for many k-pop is new and it’s nicely tied into the story and even backstory.

Then the animation with 2D weaved into the 3D is amazingly done on that. Yeah, deserved to be most streamed one.

Then also thanks to the kids out there that always coming back to it 🥰

    In the US alone. Dang.

Yeah, if I were a kid, I could see myself watching this a LOT.

I love Maggie Kang. Seeing how down to earth and unpretentious she is makes it fun to support this movie so hard. I was kind of afraid of the creator being kind of a douchey “this is my moment, gotta let everybody know I’m bigger than cartoons, going to show them how smart I am” character. Nope. The real deal. A true creative.
