Any Gen1es fans that can tldr on how their career went? Curious because I loved Ruan in Girls Planet, but didn’t follow Chuang Asia or Gen1es.

Honestly I don’t understand how still popular and recognizable are shows like Chuang/Youth with U and all the c-survival shows in general when they CLEARLY have no intention to invest into the final group from the very beginning.
I thought that translating the format towards a more “””global””” scale would have impacted on the management and promotion strategies but i guess i was wrong…

I had hope for them. “Hourglass” was a great song as was “Dot Dot Dot” and their *GEN1* EP had “VROOM”, “Rewrite” and “Juice” in its favor.
Then again, from what I remember, ill omen for this group came from the time Xueyao (listed 7th) got injured before they debuted “VROOM” at the S2 finale of Chuang Asia: Thailand but was able to reemerge kind of for “Rewrite”.
If you were one of the W1NGS (their fan name), you have my deepest sympathies.
