I’ve been following NMIXX since their debut, back when they were still a 7-member girl group. But if I’m being completely honest, I stopped stanning them during their first year. I think I just wasn’t ready for their musical style at the time. Songs like “O.O” and “Tank” felt a little chaotic on the first listen — though I have to admit, some parts were really cool.

What pulled me back was “DICE,” especially the “big wave” part that kept appearing on my FYP. When I realized it was NMIXX, I remember thinking, “Wait… their music got so much better.” Still, even back then, regardless of my taste in their songs, I always believed their talent stood out. These girls are incredibly skilled — vocally and performance-wise — and in my opinion, they can easily keep up with, or even surpass, many 4th gen girl groups.

Of course, when a member left, it created a lot of noise, just like it would for any group. But what surprised me the most was how it didn’t slow their growth at all. If anything, they became stronger and more confident.

Now, I can honestly say I’m loving their music. It just keeps getting better, and it’s been amazing to witness their evolution.

Same, I was one of those people that didn’t like O.O at all. I thought it was a pretty bad song. Weird and chaotic. I tried to listen to tank and Sonar and didn’t like them either. The only song I kinda liked was DICE. Fast forward to a few months ago, I saw the “Yoo got a minute?” Show and Lily, Bae and Haewon were just so so funny. I liked Lily this whole time because I was very impressed by her voice. So them I decided, wth, might check them out again. Blue Valentine album and Know about me BLEW me away and have been a fan ever since! Been binge watching their contents and having a lot of fun. Got their album too!

  2. Same but now I absolutely love it
Previously music wasn’t that important to me

But when I actually invested my time then again when I came across nmixx
    I was in love
Nmixx made me love music even more

  3. If I can officially become a NSWER during their confusing musical direction but aesthetically pleasing AMND era, I think there’s nothing much to stop me from stanning them, even if I’m initially not an O.O. fan. But I’ve been liking them since DICE and a lot of positive factors contributed and convinced me to go full stan on them, and I’m glad that I’m still here.

“O.O”, “Tank”, and “Dice” were just OK to me when I first heard those songs.

For me, it was “Love Me Like This” that really caught my attention when it came to NMIXX… especially their stage practice video that showcased their LIVE VOCALS.

Then “Dash” and “Run For Roses” really cemented NMIXX as a group I would keep an eye on.

But it was “High Horse” and “Know About Me”, along with Haewon’s 2 seasons of hosting “Workdol”, that turned me into a true NSWER.

  5. i still check their cbs out but im the opposite lmao my fav eras of theirs were debut – dash era. (dash cb not as much but the bsdies on that album are grammy worthy)

i’ve been a fan since day one and o.o is still one of my favorite kpop tracks, but i do understand the dislike for their earlier tracks. taste is subjective and more people need to realize that. like for me songs like party o’clock and roller coaster are just not it, but they’re some nswers faves. i think that shows the beauty and eclecticness of their discography. them not being tied to one genre opens them up to be loved by all sorts of music fans.

  7. yeah i remember when nmixx first debuted and i bounced off their sound haaard. took a break from kpop for a couple years and ended up hearing blue valentine in passing. i was obsessed and even though the album took me a couple listens, i ended up really liking and appreciating their unique sound.

not everything the group does is for me, but that’s okay! i still have plenty i enjoy and the members are so much fun. really glad i gave them a second chance 🙂

  8. My take on this. I honestly prefer listening to O.O over DICE. Even if there is less cohesion in O.O. regarding the change-up. I find it less overwhelming than DICE.

That being said I’m more on their “Fe304” and “BV” eras than their “Entwurf” one. Can’t tell for “Expérgo” cause I haven’t listened to it except “LMLT”. And still have mixed feelings about “A Midsummer NMIXX’s dream”.

  9. I checked out their discography mid of last year since I hadn’t listened to Kpop before 2025. It’s the 2nd group that I came across & listened to sometimes.

I’m more of a neutral casual fan I guess, some songs I like & others I’m on the fence about the mix pop. Over time, their songs grew on me. There are songs that I loved the first time I heard them like Passionfruit, SICKUHH, Red Light Sign But We Go.

So, when I was listening to their playlist back in Sep, I heard a song I never heard before. It was MEXE, the song that got me on board the fandom.

I catched up on their contents & love their personalities even more. I didn’t expect to love another girl group but I’m glad.
