It’s the way I got the SE version before the news dropped and thinking I could use it for the Arirang concert😭

These are super funny and a reminder that it’s not life or death. One of the main reasons I chose not to go to PTD in Vegas was because lightsticks were sold out and I didn’t know you could buy them at the show. BTS was the only K-pop group I knew then so the barrier for entry seemed too high. How could I go when I loved the music but wasn’t familiar with the members or the fan culture?
I think there is a much lighter feel these days on light sticks. Have them or don’t, just come ready to shout mianhae eomma and you’re good to go.

hahaa i think by the time the concerts come around everyone will buy it anyway. they are still far away, and 1) im guessing people’s minds will change after the entire hype goes down and realise $50 is not too horrible when they already spent hundreds on the show. and scenes from korea and japan will also tempt people to get the new one, and 2) you’ll be swept up by the atmosphere at the venue.
but honestly, just go and have fun. this is not a matter of life and death.
