We need to discuss the new twice solo outfits I'm going to talk about the upgrades and the downgrades (not the ones that stayed equally good)
First Nayeon
Her blue was perfect I was so exited to see it and then I check tik tok and they put her in the ugly tight fake leather crocodile red pants with boots that look like a pirate would wear it(which for some reason they like pirates I mean look at the brown outfits) it was soooo ugly then the next day they did improve it by changing the pants and not making the boots like that which makes the outfit go up in rating but I'm still mad why did they put her in this look it's not cute it's not flattering
Next jeongyeon
TOTAL UPGRAGE the white and pink looked cheap and the new one looks so much better on her!!!
Momo….
This devastated me you don't even know I'm seeing her in Hamilton so she will be wearing the new one I'm so sad you don't even know the ones before were so cute and now they put her in an ill fitting body suit the color is bad and the fur color is horrendous I hate it I'm so mad

It's not bad it's not good the look before was totally better and looked higher quality the new one looks cheap and they took the belt of second day and it looks even cheaper! The fur is a bad color too I'm just very disappointed with some of these

I generally concur with your appraisals.
In my (joking and unverified) opinion, they must’ve been cold during their first NA leg. They have, in general, more layers incl the fur boots for their Act 1 white outfits.
Personally – I really like the Nayeon red look.
The others I’m mixed about. I won’t say which, but some outfits just feel like complete fashion disasters for the new and/or old look.
I loved the styling for the III tour to give a comparison. A few of these though have more cheap fabric Halloween costume vibes to them. They just don’t look like they do the members justice.
Hate being negative, but it’s strange seeing this come up for discussion right after the story about ITZY wardrobe malfunction. That’s kinda made me think they could be doing it on the cheap company wide, even for TWICE.
Overall, these new outfits were a downgrade ngl. It’s a bit puzzling why they they changed from the previous ones.
I 100% agree with these takes, when I saw momos new outfit I was low key shocked
The only downgrade to me is Nayeon, she looks very much like a female character of american tv series set in a ranch in the early ’00.
I think minor tweaks could’ve made it better, especially an interesting accessory like a hat or a fur jacket or better boots.
The other haven’t changed much, they just have more fabric on.
I just did a quick ranking and commentary of the members various solo fits this tour.
I’ve labled their outfits as follows:
A – Early Part 1 (Incheon, Tokyo)
B – Late Part 1 (rest of Asia) + Part 2, 1st month of NA leg
C – Newest, Part 2, 2nd month of NA leg
Nayeon
B = A > C
I think Nayeon looks better in the color red so I like the first, especially the detail of her top, but I liked the shorts and bodysuit of the blue fit a lot more. I don’t know about this latest one…the pants are a bit weird and I don’t think it’s as flattering.
Jeongyeon
C > B > A
Holy, the new fit is absolutely stunning. All white is so powerful and Jeongyeon owns it. I liked the pink too and then the denim colored one just didnt stand out much.
Momo
A > B > C
I like Momo’s first fit the most – the crop top and shorts just have the best cut and fabric. I’m not the biggest leopard print fan either and it’s the most subtle in the first fit. I didn’t love the gloves in her B outfit nor the most recent one that’s like a onesie with the fur collar bit.
Sana
A > B > C
I liked the earliest fit most – something about the silhouette of the top is very nice and the fact that its a coffee colored outfit for a song called Decaffeinated just ticks something in my brain. I’m not a big fan of the silhouettes of the latter two fits as much.
Jihyo
B = C > A
I honestly love all of Jihyo’s fits for ATM. They all fit her and the performance. I would give the edge to the recent 2 just because the first one is just a bit simple. I might be a hair impartial to the fit I saw in LA – adding the jacket take off at the end was crazy.
Mina
C > A = B
I am OBSESSED with the newest fit. The earthy color makes Mina look like a goddess not to mention the details are just stunning. The first and second fits were pretty similar in silhouette (sleeveless, long pant bodysuit) besides the fact that one was white and one was black – both also nice too. She might be most consistent for me in how much I like her fits along with Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung.
Dahyun
B > A
She’s only had 2 fits but I liked the checkered fit more as it stands out more and is less generic than the black one. I think it suits the quirkiness of Chess better too.
Chaeyoung
C > B = A
I LOVE the newest fit, it’s like she walked right out of Alice in Wonderland. First 2 fits were really nice too, just giving off very different vibes.
Tzuyu
B > C > A
I think the 2nd fit is my fave, I like the leather, the V cut of the crop top and the boots. Tzuyu suits the shorts and boots look more than the pants in her first fit. The newest one is good too though I’m not as big a fan of the fur parts.
To be honest, this is something I never really pay much attention to, unless one of the outfits just mesmerizes me and I can’t take my eyes off one of the girls (it usually happens with Jihyo or Mina hehehe).
But I totally agree with you about Momo’s outfit. It’s really bad.
Momo’s new outfit is hideous and a massive downgrade. Not sure what they were thinking there, if they even were.
Tzuyu’s isn’t flattering. It really could have used a neckline and maybe some more details, so it doesn’t just look like she’s wearing a weird, furry swimsuit. Also weird that she didn’t even have the belt around her on day 2.
Not sure why Nayeon’s pants & shoes would’ve changed already, but I don’t think it makes much of a difference.
One outfit that was definitely an upgrade was Sana’s. Her previous solo outfits were the ugliest of the bunch. And it’s nice that Chaeyoung’s thematically matches the song she’s singing.
