INNIT Entertainment have terminated their exclusive contract with Youngbin due to the artist’s personal reasons

This is so interesting. From 1 person supposed to be the winner of the show, to planing on debuting 5 members from the show as a group, to debuting Youngbin solo and dodree as a duo, to now Youngbin leaving… hmmm

So while I was not expecting Youngbin to leave as she had already successfully debuted and INNIT looked like a more creative label that could support her solo career even without DDDD25 debuting, this is not surprising to me. Because after her debut, a few things happened: 
– First of all, iirc they were all supposed to debut solo. But that takes time and that the time of her debut it had already been a while. Between her and dodree, couple months. Now imagine a solo for all 4, they would only debut late this year. Although I think that at the time of her debut, that was still the plan. 

– Her debut was received well, but didn’t make waves. It must’ve been really expensive though as the mv budget for both her and dodree is up to JYPE’s standards for their other artists. 
– Fans said that the INNIT channel (and also DDDD25?) stopped posting about Hyejin’s birthday. So we were already down to OT4. That was also when….
– INNIT started posting auditions for a gg, and someone trademarked DOUBLETHECAKE (idk if it was them or JYPE). Also saw some blind items that it’s a cute group, but not very advanced. They might’ve put Yu in there since she was younger than the unnie line of DDDD25. I’m also sorry to say but I think the 5 didn’t really mesh from their performance, hence why I think debuting dodree is much smarter. Hyejin could’ve left for various reasons including not fitting the concept, the visuals or not wanting to mesh with a group. Again, The Entertainer was supposed to bring out ONE winner.
– dodree debuted, with at least some more success and some really viral shorts. They only had a digital Single but if they don’t need to hit big right away, they might get a followup. I really hope so, it sets JYPE apart and they’re too talented to give up. They also wouldn’t have any chance at re-debut. 

TL:DR they realized after Youngbin’s debut that the solo Debut thing was stupid, let go of Hyejin and remade the ideas for DDDD25 into DOUBLETHECAKE with potentially Yu. Then debuted dodree to give the traditional members a last chance and make up for their wasted time. And then maybe maybe hopefully decide that dodree can stay as a separate duo. 

Also don’t forget that JYPE still has no main 5th gen gg (dodree won’t be leader material sorry), and they’re yapping about a Miss A clone for a while now. So they need to get a new group out asap bc everyone’s already talking about 6th gen, and if H2H or maybe Baemon finally takes the lead, then JYPE looks old. Love Nmixx but they just turned 4, after that they only debuted VCHA / GIRLSET.
