XO (Only If You Say Yes)- IDK what’s wrong with me but I don’t like the song at first🥺😭 (I really love it and I think it’s an awesome song now)
let me in (20 cube) – i didnt like it at first but it grew on me so fast i listen to it a lot
Let Me In, the first listen felt quite cringe because of the too many “I’ll be your boyfriend”s, though I liked the beat.
But then I read an analysis of the MV and how it was actually a critique on the idol industry, and it made sense to me especially when it was pointed out that the last repetition of the line was so soulless both in delivery and in the MV (they are eerily expressionless in the glass box).
I liked the symbolism so much, it made me relisten to the song with new ears, and now I absolutely love it! I’ll be chanting “I’ll be your boyfriend” anytime the song comes on now, without any hesitation 😂

Tamed-Dashed: used to dislike it but now it’s one of my favorites
Bite me: Used to love it but now it’s really annoying lowkey cause it’s too overplayed
These are mostly when I was in the phase of getting into the group
Blessed-Cursed: I initially didn’t care about this song at all, almost disliked it and never added it to my playlist. But now I really love it. I think it might be my favourite from that album (the choreo made me fall for the song ngl it’s so fun)
Chaconne and Sacrifice: It’s not like I didn’t like these or something, I thought ‘Yes they are really good’ but that’s it. But idk something clicked one day and when I tell you I’m obsessed with these songs- (I listen to them almost everyday without fail I love them so much😭)
Blind: Another song that I was mostly neutral about/ didn’t care much (I just loved sweet venom and still monster more) but seeing them perform it live in one of those award shows last year+reading the lyrics catapulted my love for this song, it’s so good🤩
Fatal Trouble – I really disliked it at first but over time it grew on me and I ended up actually really liking it
Drunk-Dazed. I didn’t understand the hype but after hearing it live, I jumped so much and had fun and I added it to my playlist after. It’s a great EDM song I’m sorry I didn’t know ball 😂
Blessed-Cursed: During my first listen, I was more into their melodic sound, so it didn’t make an impression on me. But it grew on me. It’s such an excellent song, loved their performance of this as well!
Sacrifice: I happened to overlook this because of Bite Me, Fate, Chaconne and Bills. But I absolutely love it now.
Go Big or Go Home: I didn’t realise how great it was until I attended their concert. This one really shines in a concert setting.

Sweet Venom and GBOGH. Thought they were OK, but didn’t stand out to me until after I saw them at the concert. Now I love them so much!
Tamed-Dashed. I’m a debut Engene so I was waiting for their second album and this song just felt so different from Border Day One songs that initially I wasn’t sure about it.
But I think actually the performances are what eventually sold me on them having a fun summer type song.
Blockbuster. Never really played it but after Coachella, I really like it. I think Yeonjun did great on it as well. Hope to see them perform it together again after all these years!

It’s because of the “I’ll be your boyfriend” line in the intro. When I was starting in the fandom I only played their songs in shuffle so I pretty much just went by first impressions and skip songs that didn’t instantly click with me within the first 5-10 seconds. That line made it an instant skip. One time I was at work and was so focused I just let everything play in the background, and Let Me In made me *stop* what I was doing and I was just really blown away. *Ok, I actually like the song. No, I think it’s actually now my favorite!* —and so that was also the story behind my username lmao (fast forward to the present, it’s not my ult Enha song anymore but still my 3rd fave)

Helium – I used to not like it maybe because I didn’t really hear it much but after listening to it more I love it, probably in my top 5
I used to not like given-taken and thought it was kind of unremarkable, but I switched up and it’s now one of my favourite songs of theirs absolutely ever. similar thing with fatal trouble, I distinctly remember listening to it for the first time after seeing how loved it is and thinking “this is it?” but I just didn’t get it back then, how different things are now lol
When I first checked out Enhypen’s discography, I didn’t care much for Hundred Broken Hearts and Royalty. When I saw the legendary live performance of Hundred Broken Hearts with pink hair Heeseung, I felt like I heard the song for the first time again and changed my mind. Also hearing Royalty recently I just really liked it this time!
I also didn’t love XO before as much as I do now.

Daydream and Loose. The whispering in Daydream was making me cringe so bad (“sip sip sip make me empty..”) it still does but we move. 😭
The guitar + lyrics, especially the chorus, in Loose just didn’t sound right for me lol.. but eventually i got used to it so it’s a win win 🤷🏾♀️
Polaroid Love, at first I didn’t like it, then it grew on me!

Pass the Mic! It was the 1st song I heard from them as a new casual fan that I did not like at all, the autotune, the aggressiveness wasn’t my vibe at all.
But I loved the performance and choreo so listened to it a lot indirectly, and slowly realised that I do love the beat and drill sound! It was among my top 10 in Spotify Wrapped that year too, the instrumental is so addicting!
Still not the biggest fan of the excessive autotune on especially Jay’s “I got pushed pushed” at the start, but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying the song anymore. Now I can’t deny the instrumentals, chorus, and performance of PtM are absolutely top tier

Paradoxx Invasion – it took the live performances in the wtl tour to make me enjoy this song. I’ve always thought this song had some hard edges and struggled to like it/used to skip it. I can’t say it’s one if my favs but I won’t skip it anymore 😅
Bad Desire. I really, really disliked this song at first. I couldn’t stand it. But nowadays I’m enjoying it a lot more than I used to! Watching the performances that didn’t have the excessive autotune definitely helped.
