While I really side-eye Dara after the whole situation with her admitting recently to lying about her age many years ago in order to go on dates with a minor when she was of age, this claim by Bom doesn’t really seem to make sense. Bom has been struggling with her mental health for a while, and this seems like it might be related to that. I hope she’s okay but also hope she doesn’t say anything untruthful that hurts others or herself. Curious to see how this unfolds.

I’m not saying she’s lying, but I am saying she’s probably still dealing with a mental health crisis- the one that resulted in her announcing a $4.5 quadrillion lawsuit against YG last October via social media. That dollar value exceeds the entire world’s total GDP. The lawsuit was never filed and her lawyer wasn’t aware of it. Someone needs to help her find peace somehow.

She’s not well. From her “online obsession” with Lee Minho, to her announcing she was part of the BLACK LABEL when she had jack all to do with them; something’s definitely not right.
That said, Dara has a shady past and she didn’t get the appropriate checking for her nasty behavior, so we can’t really rule it off completely, but things just don’t add up in my head. But then again, she never really struck me as someone who’d date a minor as an adult and try to pass it off as “normal”, even threatening legal action to people who brought it up years later, and yet here we are.

I’m convinced that living in Korea is detrimental for Bom. She needs to move to the US and get real medication and real counseling, because whatever help she’s getting in Korea clearly doesn’t work.

A lot of her actions recently have been bizarre and itās just sad, especially since now sheās naming names with seemingly nothing but her word – which could put her in a lot of hot water given how defamation laws are in Korea.

There was alot of discussion about a possible mistranslation on instagram in the comments of the post, people claiming Dara is mentioned, people claiming Dara is NOT mentioned, a lot of different versions of it, people translating with ChatGPT. Iām wondering, what is the correct translation? Mistranslations can be so dangerous.

It seemed like the members were well aware of her mental state and was doing their best to give her the help or give her leeway during their concert. But this basically removed any chance of them having another come back and frankly itās too much. Itās typically a downward spiral from here if intervention and real support is not given to someone who clearly needs it. Itās very heartbreaking but itās not surprising.
