I liked that we got a little more insight into some of the songs — now we know No. 29 is an interlude and that into the sun is anthemic — and of course a lot more about the title track swim

    I’m so excited!!

Joon has been talking about the themes they’re describing for SWIM for months now! All those lives where he’s waxed poetic about love and marriage and such, he’s been talking about this “choosing your own pace” kind of stuff. It’s clearly really been on his mind!

I’m already emotional on the meaning behind SWIM. Forbes forgot to include Tae in 2 credits though.

  4. Namjoon having credits all over this album makes me so happy. He has fallen in love with music again since RPWP and it shows.

I’m so excited to listen to ARIRANG.

Waaaahhh! Reading the little description for SWIM, seeing RM on 13/14 tracks for song credits (the lyrics are gonna be something else!), hearing how all the members had a hand in the creative output again and how their song camp in LA was a successful and essential part of the album making… It all makes me so happy and excited! I can’t wait for the album (I’m gonna cry aren’t i?) and also for the Netflix documentary!!!

I do hope not many of them are all English. Even though I dont understand Korean, their Korean music is so much more personal for them and feels more special.

With the bold Arirang album name I hope they connect it with the title track, and other tracks, lyrically or sonically. Will there be korean elements when it comes to sound? Lyrics can be easily integrated but still not sure about the theme given the titles

ETA: I’ve seen the track lengths and Swim is less tham 3mins long. My take with the short songs trend aside, I hope it is long enough to make it substantial and Arirang-ish. Two more weeks.
