  1. i don’t want to look parasocial, but i am very worried things are gonna escalate, and i think we have to reach out

I love Namjoon but I wish he didn’t post this. It’s bad enough that they continue to work with this POS and have lots of credits on the new album I fear this post will garner lots of backlash

  3. I’m just absolutely flabbergasted at this point, surely he must know?! Like, what is he doing, for real? 🥴

  4. What? someone explain, y’all were excited a few days back that he was one of the good producer

Edit : I literally don’t know anything about Him or the name until he came into my feed by army edits, now I understand, but still please restrain yourself from saying anything against our boys.

  5. Could he not have posted a picture with any of the other producers, why did it have to be this guy 😑

sigh. waited so long for this and this is how its being rolled out. no excuses for joon this disappoints me so much. there are enough allegations of Diplo over the years he is not a good person.

  7. I feel a lot of international ARMY don’t realize it’s ok to be critical about the people the group associate themselves with. It’s doesn’t mean you’re hater or an anti fan. You just simply want your fav artist to make a better choice not to work with problematic people.

This reminds me of when BTS were about to release a Japanese song produced by a Japanese right-wing producer, but the whole project got canceled due to the korean fans protesting. I don’t think BH will make any changes to the album, obviously, but at least the fandom should make it clear to the company and the group that they don’t support people like Diplo.

Moreover, surprised by RM sharing his post, I hope he has done his research to know why people are upset about him being in the album credits

I’ll just say this on how I’m approaching this situation. BTS has faced several cancellable situations and have worked with shitty people and orgs over the years. And yet, I’m still here. I think over time I’ve come to realize that assigning too much of my personal values to what my favorite celebrities or entertainers do isn’t healthy or sustainable. I can choose to be upset over every infraction, or I can realize that at this level of fame and wealth, the more morally compromised they will become, and just focus on the art. Unless they actively hurt someone, of course.

  9. Accusations aside, I really do hate the caption. He worked on five tracks and the best he could say is “ARMY please be nice” meanwhile the caption he used for another Kpop group is very different.
