This episode is actually really interesting considering the recent discussion threads we’ve been having on the sub about ppl’s thoughts on the latest gose episodes. Gonna do a bit of a word vomit:
I’m a bit sad they don’t want to do so many brain episodes as I actually love those ones a lot, but I understand where they’re coming from.
Christmas in August is honestly my favourite episode of all time, and the reason why is just because the games were funny af and stupidly dumb that it elicited genuinely funny reactions from them. Like that stilts game is still hilarious to me every time I watch it lol. It didn’t really work so well with the let’s go home episode for reasons they stated with the staff, but also the games just weren’t as engaging imo.
Since they’ve told the staff not to be weary/conscious about whether the members will have the energy or want to do certain things, I say bring back some more physical activity episodes, like the lost paintball episode! Like coups said the kartrider one was a lot of fun, and in addition to that the kickball one too, I think those are best at being light episodes that don’t require so much thinking and can be watched over a meal like Jun said. These concepts also have higher re-watchability than others imo, if they’re concerned about views.
Finally I laughed when they mentioned skydiving and immediately looked at mingyu’s expression lmao he was not happy 🤣

I love to see how maturely they discuss things and the respectful relationship between the members and the staff. I felt like the content has been a little bit different over the last year or so, this period was always going to be a challenge as members enlist and others explore other ventures. I can’t wait for it to come back 🥹

Wow I didn’t expect this at all but at the same time also grateful that they decided to release this. It really shows how they pay attention and listen to our review/feedback on every episodes and trying to find solutions together instead of blaming it to either members or staff.
Of course it’s hard to come up with new idea/concept every single time which can satisfy all of us (members, staff, viewers) especially considering that Gose has been going for 7 years. Moreover with the burden of being called “Infinity Challenge” of Idol world which of course make it much harder for them. In addition, the burden of making up for the missing members and for the soon enlist members.
So I’m really glad they talk about it. It means they really acknowledge and understand all the good things and flaws of past seasons. It also shows how this is not just another variety show, but in a whole another level. They truly become a complete family. They really love and care to each other which again they admitted, they being considerate can either be good or bring harm to them.
I really wish the best for them. I believe all the episodes they going to show us in the future will always bring us laughter and warm our heart, just by being our best meal buddy. I really hope all members and staff can enjoy their time and have fun too.
